The Wesleyan Summer Gifted Program is a two-week, residential, academic and social program for gifted children moving into grades 5 - 12. Students attend advanced classes in mathematics, physics, computer science, creative writing, literature and history. Students are housed in campus dorms and are supervised by experienced counselors. They have structured days and free time in the evenings, with study time and opportunities to engage in sports, yoga, movies, and games, attend guest speakers and musicians, and put on a talent show. West Virginia Wesleyan College is a beautiful campus located in the heart of rural West Virginia. The college offers extensive facilities, including tennis courts, track and field, indoor swimming, and a new performing arts center. Students are invited to use all the available facilities. The camp has been running for over thirty consecutive years. Its professors are seasoned and delight in working with young people of all ages. Small classes are adjusted to fit the needs of even very advanced students. 2015 dates are June 21-July 3. Students must qualify as gifted for admission to the program.
