Individuals interested in gifted education can choose from the Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Gifted Education or the graduate certificate in Gifted Education. Courses are offered entirely online and are designed using state-of-the-art tools and technologies, providing students with a direct connection to the knowledge and expertise of ASU’s award-winning faculty.

ASU’s Gifted Education programs are designed for educators, administrators, therapists, and family members who fill important roles in the lives of gifted children. Graduates will learn how to work with administrators, school boards, and parents to create gifted programs based on the needs of their school district. They will learn how to be an advocate in their schools for gifted students and gain the tools to identify and address the specific needs of talented or gifted students.

The Master’s degree program consists of 10 courses and the graduate certificate program consists of 5 courses. Classes are offered in 7.5 week sessions with multiple start dates throughout the year, offering flexibility and allowing individuals to begin their degree program sooner.
